From the land to the table

Sagàs is a small, mid-mountain village North of Barcelona, a wonderful site, origin of every product we use in our kitchen. In these fertile grounds, the Rovira family grow transgenic-free vegetables, raise cattle under the highest quality standards and at their own workshop they craft charcuterie products following centuries-old recipes.

Eating with your hands

Sagàs is a great gastronomic journey through the best of the world’s street food. We have gone around the globe to reinterpret the great classics of urban gastronomy, while still remembering who we are. Catalan classics like “butifarra” (sausage) and “cap i pota” (tripe), Madrid’s very own “bocata de calamares” (squid sandwich) and “tortilla de patata” (potato omelette) are all from nearby, while we travel to the oriental aromas of chicken curry, chinese buns, the mythical vietnamese báhn mi, all the way to american burgers with grilled “Gallega” beef and italian delicacies like “burrata” and smoked sardines “bruschetta”. All of it together with our fantastic salads, deliciously spicy “patatas bravas” and surprising house desserts.
